Thursday: Locals’ Night
The festival opens with a special night for the locals. The performers will do a high energy show consisting of original sketches, character bits and improv inspired by and geared to Telluride and the people who live here. The show ends with the amazing improvised rock/comedy show, ‘No Posers’, where Brian Huskey, Seth Morris and Jason Mantzoukas perform hilarious music made up on the spot.

Friday: Sketch Comedy and Improv Night
We’ll start the evening with some of the finest sketch comedy you have ever had the chance to see. Shows that have been performed and perfected in LA and NYC, now brought to you in Telluride on the stage of the historic Sheridan Opera House. The second half of the night, all performers will jump on stage for an exhilarating set of improv. These performers all got their starts as improvisers and Telluride is the place they come to re-unite and re-visit their comedy roots. It is truly amazing what they can create with one tiny suggestion and lots of imagination.

Saturday: Stand Up Comedy
Comedians Brett Gelman and Tig Notaro are new to Telluride this year!Brett Gelman performs at festivals and colleges as a member of Horatio Sanz's Original “Kings Of Improv”, and can be seen on Comedy Central's Motherload. “Tig Notaro is so funny. She is so comfortable on stage and takes her time like a master. She has the timing of Bob Newhart and the body of a tiny lumberjack. It’s so fun to watch her. She’s funny without even saying a word. She just has that thing and it’s hilarious.” - Sarah Silverman, Actor/Writer/ComedianTelluride Comedy Fest veteran and comic genius Seth Morris hosts the show.

Sunday: Ed Helms Comedy/Music Extravaganza
Ed Helms, star of the biggest comedy of the year, “The Hangover”, is gracing us with his presence once again with a show that is part “Prairie Home Companion”, part “Hee Haw”, and is 100% Ed Helms! Ed will host the evening, doing stand up, performing sketches, interviewing various characters (played by other performers), and playing the banjo with a professional backup band. Don’t miss this special Ed Helms Valentine’s Night closing night show of 2010 Comedy Fest.
The above schedule is subject to change.
