Bluegrass Twitter Contest Winner Testimony

"This years bluegrass was a third annual reunion for a group of my friends - we decided every year to return to the magical valley on summer solstice to celebrate bluegrass at its finest. It’s a must to get in Wednesday while the town is still quiet, and ride the gondola up to mountain village at sunset- the mountains, the red sky, the town of Telluride, and the weekend ahead....

 

This year, a few dollars richer and more mature than the years before, we moved from

the campgrounds to a condo- while camping for bluegrass is a necessary experience, the condo is the way to go. What made it even better, I won a free ticket on Twitter and Telluride Alpine Lodging set us up in the perfect condo at Cimarron Lodge. Running water, a refrigerator, and most importantly, a warm bed - crucial for getting the quality sleep you will need to keep you energized for the long, glorious days ahead. 

 

There was not one cloud in the sky the entire weekend. I could not have been more

content on our little plot of land in town park, whiskey lemonade in hand, bluegrass in the air. Four days with the legendary veterans, inspiring new artists and my closest friends-Everyone with a humble smile, just there to have a good time.
