It's February already?! Wow... Time flies when you're having fun. And the fun isn't going to stop anytime soon. Also, keep doing your snow dance. Seriously. With snow in the forecast for the next three days, there would be no better way to kick off the last two months of our ski season than with some knee deep powder turns. Lots of them. Please.

Wednesday, February 2nd - 40 Ounces to Freedom - The Sublime Tribute Band, 40 Ounces to Freedom, will perform an energetic show at the Fly Me to the Moon Saloon on Wednesday night. 40 oz to Freedom formed in March of 2007 and has been turning heads ever since by covering hits like "Caress Me Down", "Doin Time", "Santeria" and more. Come rock out at the legendary "Moon". Purchase tickets at The Wizard on Main Street.
Thursday, February 3rd - Telluride Art Walk - The first Thursday of every month, local galleries stay open till 8:00pm to host the Telluride Art Walk. Browse around local stores between 4:00pm and 8:00pm, sipping refreshments and admiring regional-inspired artwork. Pick up an Art Walk directory at the Stronghouse Studios (283 S. Fir Street) or any participating gallery to plan your town stroll. Art Walk is FREE!

Thursday, February 3rd - Ailey II, "A Celebration of American Dance - The Palm Theater in Telluride presents Ailey II - A Celebration of American Dance this Thursday night. "This exuberant and high energy presentation features ballets set to dynamic and poignant American music plus traditional spirituals and blues". Friday, February 4th - Monday, February 7th - "Anything Goes" - The Sheridan Arts Foundation's Young People's Theater program presents Anything Goes, performed by grades 9-12. This fun musical production features gangsters, lovers, and lots of song and dance. The Sheridan Opera House will host shows on the evenings of Friday, Saturday, and Monday at 6:00pm. Tickets are $11 for students and $13 for adults. This is a great event for the entire family!

Saturday, February 5th - Chocolate Lover's Fling - One of the best parties of the Winter ski season is back. The 16th annual Chocolate Lover's Fling will be held at the Telluride Conference Center this Saturday night. This year's theme is "Heroes and Villains"... so dress in your best outfit, sample delectable chocolates, and dance the night away. This event features delicious chocolate samples from professional chefs, dancing with DJ Harry, silent auction, and prizes for best costume. This is an absolute MUST DO and all proceeds goto a great cause, The San Miguel Resource Center.
