The Aspen's are green, river is flowing, and Town Park is warming up for one of the most anticipated weekends of the summer. "Summer Fever" is in full effect here in Telluride... as we prepare for 10,000+ to arrive for the Bluegrass Festival next week. Starting Wednesday the 16th, get ready for 5 days of finger pickin, dirty feet dancin, sun shinin, snow meltin, Killer Flank Steak eatin, beer drinkin, bluegrass fun! Below, I have listed everything you need to know about the 37th Annual Bluegrass Festival:
Wednesday, June 16th: FirstGrass concert - Enjoy a FREE concert in Sunset Plaza in Mountain Village. Live performance from Sarah Jarosz and 18 South from 5-8pm. For more information about FirstGrass or performers, check out: http://www.bluegrass.com/telluride/firstgrass.html
Wednesday, June 16th: NightGrass Kickoff - Yonder Mountain String Band will play at the Telluride Conference Center and Dierks Bentley & The Travelin' McCourys will kick off the full lineup at the Sheridan Opera House. Thursday, June 17th: Town Park Gates open at 10:30am and the "Tarp Run" begins! Grab a spot to watch the amazing Thursday lineup and the kickoff to the 37th Annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Check out the entire weekend Town Park schedule at: http://www.bluegrass.com/telluride/lineup.html

Telluride Troubadour Contest: Support songwriters and bands from across the country compete for top honors. The Telluride Troubadour Competition is a nationally recognized songwriter competition that takes place in Town Park open to anyone who "writes and performs original music and who is not currently signed to a major recording or publishing deal".
