David Wilcox In concert

David Wilcox is a true American, folk-singing treasure. He has sold over 750,000 CDs and has been writing songs for 30 years. He is known for his open tuning acoustic guitar, sawed-off capos, storytelling wit, and insightful metaphors. David Wilcox became a singer-songwriter out of the necessity to express himself and open his soul. David once said "I love music that moves me, but only if it moves me forward. I don’t want to sing songs that stay stuck in the same old illusions that fooled me before. I trust that when a song really moves me, it moves me because it is coming from a place I am going. Each song is like a postcard that inspires me to travel, but instead of just a snapshot of a place, it’s a preview of a whole different way of seeing."
Join us for an evening of phenomenal music and a few stories with David Wilcox, on the Sheridan Opera House stage. David will perofrm solo on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012 at 8pm. Doors and bar open at 7:30pm. Reserved seat tickets are $23 and $25, open to all ages.
