Lunch Off the Mountain
With all of the great restaurants to choose from in Telluride, our locals had a wide variety of votes for this one. The winner is The Corner House, closely followed by Siam, Hop Garden, La Tapatia (the taco stand), The Brown Bag, Diggity Dog, and Telluride Pizza Kitchen.
Après Ski
For a fun party atmosphere when you come off the mountain, our local’s favorite is the Hop Garden in Mountain Village. Honorable mentions also go to Poachers, Tracks Café X and the Last Dollar Saloon aka The Buck.
Dining Splurge
Are you coming to Telluride for a special occasion? Whether you are or not, at least once during your visit you should splurge on a fantastic dinner at one of world-class restaurants. For a big night on the town, the local’s top choice is New Sheridan Chop House. If you can’t get a reservation there, you will not be disappointed by choosing from our other local favorites, 221 South Oak, Cosmopolitan, La Marmotte or Rustico.
Dining Steal
Not every dinner out has to break the bank. Our local’s favorite for a more affordable dinner out is Emilio’s on Main Street. Other great choices are La Tapatia, Telluride Pizza Kitchen and the Corner House.
Best Burger
When in the words of Jimmy Buffet you crave “a big warm bun and huge chunk of meat,” our locals recommend a trip to the Corner House and don’t forget your side of Tots! Other tasty burgers can be found at Floradora, New Sheridan Chop House or Fat Alley.
Breakfast
Don’t forget the most important meal of the day! By a huge margin, locals go to Maggie’s to fuel up before hitting the slopes. Other delicious breakfasts can be found at La Cocina de Luz and the Aspen Street Inn. For Sunday brunch, 221 South Oak is at the top of the list.
