Trevor Bartz, General Manager
Trevor has been coming to ski in the Rockies since he was six years old. Originally from White Bear Lake, Minnesota, he was drawn to Colorado for a more tropical climate. He spent four years in Gunnison, Colorado where he studied Resort Management and Accounting, getting degrees in both in 2014. Two days after graduation, he moved to Telluride to become the Manager on Duty of the Lumière Hotel in Mountain Village. Trevor spent four years getting hands-on experience working with a luxury resort in guest services, Forbes standards, property care, and human resource management. He joined the Sea to Ski family in the Spring of 2018 and is most looking forward to a long and prosperous partnership with owners and guests alike.
Any time off that Trevor finds, he uses to travel; he's been motorcycling through Vietnam and Indonesia as well as train-hopping through Europe. He is looking forward to planning his next trip and is open for suggestions over coffee anytime!
Katie Cox, Guest Experience Manager
During her college years, Katie fell in love with beautiful Colorado. With her degree in-hand, Katie began searching for a job anywhere in Colorado. It was Telluride and the magnificent San Juan Mountains that welcomed Katie to her next chapter of life. With her car packed and her now-husband Andy by her side, they ventured to Telluride in June 2010. Katie had found her new home! In January 2015, looking for a more positive involvement with the community and visitors alike, she joined the Sea to Ski team and continues to enjoy interacting with guests and the community members through her position as Guest Experience Manager.
Katie holds a BS in Architecture/Environmental Design and an MS in Regional and City Planning both from the University of Oklahoma. When she is not skiing and hiking the San Juans, she enjoys traveling, biking and soaking up the Colorado sunshine at festivals with her husband Andy, and their loving White Shepherd, Buddy.
Joshua Phillips, Director of Property Care
Born in the deep south on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi in the sleepy little town of Pascagoula, Joshua has enjoyed adventure since he can remember. A water lover, Joshua spent his college summers on the Ocoee River in Tennessee, enjoying all the Appalachian Mountains had to offer. Upon graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelors in Business Management, he and his now wife, Trisha, decided it was time to move west and learn to ski. He caught wind of a small town named Telluride, found an apartment on Craigslist, packed the car and headed west. Arriving well after dark, his first glimpse of the San Juans and this beautiful box canyon came at sunrise, and he was smitten. While only planning to stay in Telluride for a winter season, eight years later he still considers himself lucky to call Telluride home.
When Joshua isn’t caring for Sea to Ski’s properties, you find him shredding the mountain on skis, playing on a slackline in town park, ripping the trails on his mountain bike during summer, and always searching for next peak to climb and adventure to plan.
Andrei Spinei, Maintenance Engineer
Andrei hails originally from Moldova, where he completed university. During summers off from his studies, he traveled to the United States as part of the Student Work and Travel program. By a fluke, he arrived in Telluride in 2008 and his first impression was of the incredibly friendly people that reside here. Finding Telluride to be completely different than any place he had visited prior on this continent or in the old world, Andrei a self-described “crazy outdoor person”, was determined to make this mountain community his home. Now married and father to sons Daniel and David, he is happy to be part of the Sea to Ski team.
Erica Gioga, Long-Term Manager
Erica made the San Juan Mountains home after falling in love with the beauty and the pace of life when coming to work for a ski season. As the usual Telluride tale goes, that season turned into 11 years. She then relocated back to her native Colorado Springs, but the box canyon was always in her heart. She had kept her ties with the town by working with the Telluride Film Festival, which she continues to do in addition to her role at Sea to Ski. She has since returned to raise her son, Gage, in this beautiful small community.
As a property owner herself, Erica understands the connection one has to their home. It is part of you, a place where memories are made, and every home deserves to be taken care of. Erica’s attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to communicate successfully has secured her the position of Director of Operations.
Erica has a passion for travel and enjoys hiking, yoga, and film. Most of her time is spent searching for Big Foot with her son and generally enjoying life in Telluride.
Annemarie Jodlowski, Director of Marketing and Brand Development
After years of working in Chicago and expatriate assignments in both Tokyo and London, the Jodlowski family decided it was time for a permanent change. A quick glance at Ski Magazine’s Top 10 mountain town list revealed the tiny jewel of Telluride. Nestled amid snow-capped peaks, with the added bonus of an unparalleled festival season and a local year-round community, this was the place to be. Jobs were quit, the house sold, car packed, land purchased and architect contacted! Annemarie arrived in August 2004 to a newly designed home in the Telluride Ski Ranches just days before her daughter started Kindergarten. A decade later, with all three kids in double digits, she returned to her marketing career, with a strong desire to make sure our clientele not only stays at the most luxurious accommodations but that they experience all of the adventure and authenticity that Telluride uniquely offers.
Annemarie holds a BS in Finance from the University of IL and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. An active soul, when she is not hiking and skiing the San Juans, she enjoys traveling, paddle-boarding, and shopping boutiques from San Francisco to New York.
