This 1 bedroom suite has a large open and light sitting area with turret windows and a leather queen sleeper sofa, gas fireplace, flat screen TV, half bath and southern and western views of Telluride and the gondola. There is also a west facing deck. The condo features a kitchenette with 2 burner stove top, full-sized fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee system. There is a dining area with seating for 4 guests. The bedroom has a king bed, flat screen TV, large windows and a second balcony overlooking the gondola. The bathroom has a shower only - no tub, and heated towel dryer.

Hotel Columbia is always a great place to stay and this time was no exception. The staff was so helpful and friendly, the accommodations comfortable and the restaurant (both breakfast and dinner) food was fantastic.

Hotel Columbia is a very convenient place to stay in town. It is close to everything including the gondola to Mountain Village. the staff is friendly and helpful. We will stay there again next time.

We've been coming to Telluride for many years, this was our first time staying at the Columbia. A very nice hotel, we loved the included breakfast. Kitchen was well equipped. Overall an excellent experience, we will come back again! We did have two minor complaints: 1. The bed was VERY soft. Too soft to get a good night's sleep. I actually slept two night on pull out couch which was more comfortable. 2. The quality of TV's and TV channel options were not good, I think both are due for an upgrade... But overall the experience was excellent, and we look forward to coming back!

We loved staying here for our first time, and the location is perfect! Enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast although a few times when we came down at 9:20 am (a good 10 minutes before the buffet was supposed to end) one of the staff looked at their watch to check the time, and you were out of a few things, including the quiche and she did not put any more food out. Also, we loved the size of or king suite, but the king mattress was horrible. It was way too soft and we woke up every morning with our backs hurting because the mattress was so soft. We could not wait to get home to our mattress. We would love to come back again next year but truly hope you replace the mattresses!!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at your hotel. We have been coming to Telluride for 7 years and always stay in town at our friends house around the corner from Hotel Columbia. The location is perfect, and we very much enjoyed your buffet breakfast each morning. Your staff were very welcoming and friendly; however, we preferred to come down for breakfast

Annual ski trip

Unfortunately this will be our last time at Hotel Columbia. We have been staying here for ten years. Since you went to a Management company you priced yourself out of the market with prices and fees. You lost that personal attention. You did not make any of special offers like before. As much as we like Hotel Columbia we can no longer justify the higher prices and fees.

WE stay every year for the Telluride festival. Great location, service, rooms, restaurant and "feel". The atmosphere of a mountain inn but the size and rooms of a great small hotel. Really the best in town. The Lumleys.

Great stay, staff and location!

Room was very spacious, bright and comfortable. Only downside from a light sleeper, was that I could hear the gondola until midnight and again beginning at 6:30 am. It was actually very quiet, but again, I'm a light sleeper. Room 32 is directly above the gondola. Everything else was absolutely perfect and beautiful! Michael, Kate, and Marin were so very helpful from check in to check out. Thank you

You are correct about the gondola ... while a fantastic service to the community, our supreme location right across the street does come with the slight downside of some mechanical noise. If you come back, we would love to set you up in a room a little more secluded, perhaps father from the gondola to ensure a comfortable visit. Have a great summer!

I can not say enough good things about Hotel Columbia. The location and accommodations were awesome, but best of all was the staff who we so enjoyed getting to know and treated us like locals on our honeymoon. We also loved the breakfast each morning, it was scrumptious. Thank you for making my first trip to Telluride amazing and on our drive home we were already talking about planning our return. Thank you all for being a big part of making our honeymoon amazing!

Outstanding Visit But Terrible First Night

We had our normal outstanding annual visit to the Hotel Columbia and our entire stay was tremendous except for our first night. A party took place in room 33 (next to us) starting about midnight and I had to call the person on call at 2:40AM to get them to stop. Kendra did her best to stop the party but they simply ignored her. It finally was over by around 4 AM but not before I lost most of the night to laughter, loud music and conversations out on the balcony. Christa Moran dropped us a note a with a complimentary bottle of wine and I really appreciate that gesture but in my opinion that is not enough of an apology. Client's like that are not the normal at this Hotel and that is why we come back every year. I expect better and hope our future stays in Telluride and the Hotel Columbia don't have this kind outcome.
