Extraordinary location, value and comfort. My room with loft looking up the canyon was very comfortable. Breakfast and use of the kitchen was much appreciated as was the late check out. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great location in Telluride to walk to everything we needed! Retta, the manager during our stay, was so nice and knowledgable! The breakfasts she provided were delicious, and the grab n go snacks were appreciated for the long ski days! Maybe the twin bed cushion on the first floor could use a topper as my son said it was a bit hard. otherwise, everything else was terrific! Especially Retta!!!

A wonderful place on the river. A great location for wondering around town and a short walk along the river into the festival. Retta and her staff are great and add to the experience! Looking forward to next year and another great Bluegrass festival.

We loved it
Room was fine and most importantly- as described. In room coffee was weak by but staff made up for it with an “extra strong” brew during breakfast. Most in room coffee isn’t strong enough for me so I don’t count that against this particular property. As another reviewer said, would have been five stars except for parking - holy nightmare. Parking was compounded by the fact that I missed part of the welcome instructions regarding registration and where to park in the scheme of Telluride permit area - that’s my fault. Nonetheless parking is horrendous to the point to once you find one, you’re never gonna want to move your car - EVER. Now, the property staff did assist and get us on the right path so we didn’t get a ticket so just like with the coffee, not their fault and they did help but the parking was enough of a problem overall to impact the review of the stay overall .

I am giving four stars for one reason alone. Otherwise it would be five stars. Pros: great location, Charming old school Ski Haus. Nice bathroom but a bit small. Most importantly, the guest services were very helpful. Cons: Parking.....Parking was a big problem.

Just delightful!
Everything was comfy, the bed upstairs, certainly. The couch bed, not so much, but that is to be expected. The only things I would suggest: 1. the couch bed needs a comforter or bedspread - girls were cold by morning. No other blankets or sheets in room. Also, the sheet on the queen bed did not fit, so it kept coming off at the corner. Other than that - great accommodations. Love the Manitou! Thank you. P.S. Angela in the kitchen, was very accommodating and welcoming. Delicious food! Just awesome.

Very convenient location, loved hearing the crick outside
The unit was cute and rustic, suited our needs well. Tiniest shower in the world was sufficient but could use a shelf for items more than soap! No where to put shampoo or a razor. Fantastic location!I would have preferred if I had received the check-in details by email without having to call to request it. And it was annoying to have to go to the office to pick up the parking pass--this could be in the unit instead...under threat of an even higher replacement fee if needed. That said, the office wasn't so far away and overall this was a great stay. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

We do try to send guests directions for direct check in when possible; however, factors like early arrivals and parking passes can affect the process. Luckily, our office is on the way to the Manitou!

Great location. Funky lodge setting. Furniture was pretty worn down and neighbors were loud in the evening. Thin walls.

We could feel the related vibration in the floor in bathroom, there are several areas in the bathroom where the paint is peeling on the ceiling. This is my 11th year straight staying in this room, You need to address the noise vibration problem.

Antiquated
I wasn’t expecting a 5 star hotel but just a few updates would have been nice. Like a decent cushion on the day bed, a microwave, and screens on the patio door. There is no A.C. or windows so with no screens you can’t open the door to let in the fresh mountain air. If you do, expect a room full of mosquitoes!!
