47th Annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival
About the Festival
Check back for details about the 2021 festival.
What started as a simple performance in a park has turned into 47 years of bliss in Telluride. The Telluride Bluegrass Festival is now four days of Americana and Bluegrass nestled in Town Park on the east end of town. Main Stage performances take place in Town Park throughout the day, but there are also masters workshops in Elks Park, band and songwriting contests and Nightgrass concerts at every venue in town.
The Telluride Bluegrass Festival celebrates Americana roots music and encourages all of its artists to push the limits of their genre. Collaborations between artists often highlight the weekend. There's a reason this festival has been around for so long - it's truly amazing! Grab your lawn chair, blanket and snacks and we'll see you at the fest!
NightGrass is a great way to see those bands that played Main Stage earlier in the day up close and personal. These shows take place in the evening at small, intimate venues around town. Click here for additional information about NightGrass venues and tickets.
Most festivatians book lodging a year in advance for the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. The Town of Telluride generally sells out six months prior to the festival, so secure your lodging as soon as you know you are attending! For additional details on camping, click here. For lodging, click here.
