Blues, Brews and Telluride - Does It Get Any Better?
Check back for details about the 2021 festival.
About the Festival
With three stages, five late-night venues and over 30 artists, Blues & Brews is more than just a weekend festival - it's a life-changing event! Since it first started in 1994, America's best craft breweries and top blues artists have flocked to the tiny town of Telluride for a fun weekend in September. Most of the shows take place at the Main Stage in Telluride's Town Park, but there are plenty of other events, like the Grand Beer Tasting, yoga sessions, Blister & Brews 5K, Blues for Breakfast and Late Night Shows that will keep any festival-goer busy all weekend long!
The Grand Tasting is held Saturday morning of the festival and is one of the most fun events at the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival! More than 50 of the best craft breweries in the country come to show off over 170 different styles of beer and cider. Plus, you even get a souvenir glass! Find out more about the beer vendors here.
Blues Stage & Rustic Campground Stage
In addition to the Main Stage at Town Park, there is also an indoor stage called the Blues Stage. The Blues Stage typically features traditional blues acts and standup comedy. The Rustic Campground Stage is in the wooded corner of the park and provides music lovers with exclusive intimate live performances along the creek. Find out more about the stages here.
Sunset Blues Concert
There's no need for a ticket to attend this event! Kick off a weekend of fun with a free Sunset Blues Concert in Mountain Village's Sunset Plaza on Thursday night. The show is just a short gondola ride away from the main festivities in town. Click here for details about the Sunset Blues Concert.
Late Night Shows/Juke Joints
Once the fun stops in Town Park, it continues on elsewhere in Telluride! Friday and Saturday, there are four different "Juke Joint" shows showcasing a variety of musicians in up-close-and-personal venues. Click here for more details about the Juke Joints.
Blisters & Blues 5K
Blisters & Blues is a 5K fundraiser race on Saturday morning that raises money for the Telluride Adaptive Sports Program. The race route ends in Elks Park, where participants can enjoy live music, free beer and free yoga sessions! Get a nice jog in before the drinking starts! Click here for more details or to register.
Brews & Blues Yoga
Namaste! Relax before a long day of jammin' out with the Blues & Brews free yoga sessions! Learn breath practices, liberating movements and other exercises in the fresh alpine morning air. Yoga sessions are held Saturday and Sunday morning of the festival at Elks Park. Click here for additional details.
Blues for Breakfast
Wake up with a morning of blues music! On Saturday and Sunday of the festival, six finalists will compete in the Telluride Blues Challenge, which will be the backdrop for your breakfast spread. Click here for additional details about the food, venue and artists.
