Manitou Lodge FAQs

How does the parking work?
We supply you with an electronic, street parking pass that allows you to park anywhere in the W parking zone of Telluride. Upon arrival, we will register your vehicle in the electronic system for the permit and provide you with a map displaying the different parking zones. You will only receive one parking permit per reservation. Please note, guests that drive in the winter may have to move their vehicles according to the local snow plowing schedule. Certain roads will not have available parking on plow days. The Manitou Lodge does not have guaranteed parking spaces and parking can be limited during busy times of the year. It is recommended that you take a local shuttle service, rather than rent a car if you are flying into Montrose.

How close is the Lodge to the local establishments and activities?
The Manitou Lodge is situated against the mountain, along the river trail in downtown Telluride. We are a 2-minute walk from the free Gondola and Chair Lift 8, which gives you access to the entire ski mountain. We are also less than 5 minutes away from several different hiking trails in the area. There are well over a dozen restaurants within a 3-minute walk of the Lodge, not to mention several that are less than a minute away. The grocery store and local bakery are 1 block up the road from us and the town park is a 7-minute walk down the river trail. You could not ask for a better location!
