What
are the options for parking?
We
can accommodate 25 vehicles in our assigned Mountainside Inn parking lot
while another 25 can use the public lot on the west side of the "100"
building, called Carhenge. The two (2) rows closest to the Mountainside Inn
property (easternmost side) are provided with one (1) parking pass upon
check-in. Please clearly display this pass on your dashboard. To get to
Carhenge from the Mountainside Inn parking lot, return to main street (Colorado
Ave) and turn left to go back to the roundabout. Take the third exit out of the
roundabout onto S. Mahoney drive. Go down to the stop sign and take a left onto
the one-way street (West Pacific Ave). Approximately 200 yards down, on
the right-hand side, a small blue sign with "Carhenge" and an arrow
pointing to the right will have you cross the bridge into the dirt lot. Take a
left and go down to the very last two rows. It is in these two sections that
our guests are allowed to park overnight with the proper identification
being displayed on their dashboard.
Is
there AC at the property?
Mountainside
Inn does not have air conditioning in any of our units. We do provide fans to
our guests and setting the fan in an open window to draw in the cool mountain
air is a much eco-friendlier and cost effective way to lower the temperatures
in your unit, especially at night.
Are
pets allowed?
Mountainside
Inn welcomes well behaved dogs as long as they are leashed at all times when
outside of their unit and do not cause any sort of disruption to our
guests. 3 of the 4 buildings are pet friendly, the "100" building is
pet free. Our pet fee is $30/night per dog, no matter the size or age. A
maximum of 2 dogs allowed per unit and failure to report or comply may result
in a hefty fine, dismissal from the unit, or banned from Mountainside Inn
property.
Is
there breakfast included?
Mountainside
Inn does not serve breakfast but we do have fresh brewed coffee in the office
every morning at 9am.
Does
the hotel have ice and a laundry facility?
Yes,
just to the right when you enter the north entrance of the 200 building (go
past the office door and turn right to go around the back of the 200 building).
The two (2) steps going up the porch lead you to the north entrance where these
two amenities can be found just inside. The washer and dryer are coin operated
so be sure to get quarters from the front desk ($2.25 for the washer, $2 for
the dryer).
