Nicholas was born and raised in rural Minnesota, where he spent summer’s dirt biking and winter’s snowmobiling with his brothers. After high school Nicholas attended the University of Georgia, graduating with BAs in History and Anthropology in 2010. He kicked around Georgia for a couple years after that, working odd jobs including a short stint as a groundskeeper for the Atlanta Falcons.
In 2012 Nicholas grew tired of the grind and the traffic and decided to move to southwest Colorado to get away “just for the season.” That summer he met the two future loves of his life: his wife Samaneh and this small town called Telluride. Ten years later, he cannot imagine his life without either of them!
