Telluride's Newest Dining Destination
The National debuted to in December of 2018 and has been popular ever since. A beautiful space with attentive servers and delicious food, the National certainly deserves its accolades. The menu changes regularly, but count on the tempura rock shrimp and charred broccolini to be among the appetizers. Both are fantastic. Moving to entrees, the five-spiced duck and the Moroccan Lamb Chops are frequently featured as are a variety of fish dishes and there is always a vegetarian option. One of the highlights when dining at the National is the hand-crafted cocktails. Local mixologist, affectionately known as Diamond Dave, is constantly combining new concoctions.
