A Telluride Classic
The New Sheridan is more than just one restaurant - it’s really comprised of five different parts: The New Sheridan Chop House, a fine dining establishment, the Parlor Bar, the hotel lobby area with a few tables and a bar perfect for breakfast or a nightcap, the Historic Bar, complete with pool tables and foosball, the Roof, open during the summer and the Phoenix Bean, which serves bagels, avocado toast and other delectable treats. Be sure to make reservations for dinner as this is a bustling place that fills quickly. The Chop House is primarily a steakhouse, but the menu also includes chicken, seafood and elk. Choose your protein and then add on a side of brussels, asparagus or mashed potatoes. If you’re feeling decadent, the macaroni and cheese with bacon lardons is a great option. A selection of desserts is available for your enjoyment or just order a flatliner, their signature after-dinner drink. It’s a beautiful concoction of Vodka, Bailey’s, Kahlua and an espresso shot blended and topped with three coffee beans. You won’t regret it!
