Bear Creek Lodge 207A

Excellent Staff, Great Property with some bumps
My review is not higher due to 2 factors. The original condo we booked was VERY hot and had a fan that you could not turn off. I had rented directly from Telluride Lodging and asked specific questions about the unit - none of this was mentioned. Upon check in, we talked to the front desk only to be informed the heat had been an issue with prior guests and she offered a connecting bedroom in the event not so hot. When this was not the case - and the rest of the condo was hot as well - we asked to be moved and were able to do so. This fixed all issues and the condo was MUCH nicer and bigger. However, if I had not pressed, we would have been extermely uncomfortable. Secondly, the funicular was not working, and had not been working, before we arrived. I have celiac disease and we get a condo when traveling so we can cook meals and easily get off and on the slope for lunch quickly. We used the funicular every day last time we stayed. We want to maximize our time on the mountain and wound up not coming home for lunch since we didn't want to wait on a shuttle. Since the front desk was unsure if the funicular would be fixed, we bought lunch items that went wasted. In addition, on mountain dining is very limitied do to the severity of my allergy and often just ate a protein bar and such from breakfast to dinner to maximize skiing. This is my issue, but we look for ski in/ski out options (in this case modified ski in/ski out) for this reason. However, the staff, location, shuttle etc were great - makes for a hard review.

Bear Creek Lodge Unit 207A is truly perfect!
This is my husband and my second visit to Bear Creek Lodge. We first visited in mid October to see the glorious foliage. My husband is an avid skier and we decided to return to the Bear Creek Lodge, staying 5 days in unit 207A. This unit is completely renovated with a clean, European interior. The amenities were well thought out and beautifully designed. We felt completely comfortable; as if we were in our own home. The staff in the main building is totally professional, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We highly recommend selecting this unit for your next getaway; you will not be disappointed!

Wonderful Telluride Condo
Nicely updated unit in wonderful Mountain Village location. We were not disappointed. We were only in the "A" unit so can't comment on unit B. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for your stay. An updated coffee maker would be a good addition, although the provided coffee maker worked ok. The queen bed was a bit soft, but, of course that is a personal preference. A king sized mattress would be a good upgrade to this unit. The complex amenities were great and everything was super clean. Parking wasn't a problem even though we were there over Christmas weekend. Overall, we would definitely stay at this unit again.

Beautiful re-done unit
Wonderful unit at well kept Telluride condo building. Super comfortable. Not uber luxury, but not a problem for us. Easy walk down to gondola at Marketplace (which is a wonderful store). Did not use pool or hot tub but they looked nice and were well maintained. Would return to this unit again as it is modern and clean. Great open kitchen and large TV's, Well stocked. Washer and dryer worked great. Bathroom fine overall, the flow limiter on shower head being frustrating and a single sink but not a deal breaker. Did not use the attached B unit and no one was there so it was quiet. Some roof construction was going on but seemed nearly done. Guests using a nearby staircase outside can see into unit if blinds not pulled.

Beautiful condo!
This is a beautiful and WELL STOCKED condo - the kitchen was amazing and we loved the balcony and end unit. It was, however, slightly loud as we could hear our neighbors quite well due to the lock off room - they woke my husband up several times the first night we were there. Otherwise we had an amazing stay! Don't hesitate to rent this unit - especially if you're using the 2nd bedroom as well!

Another amazing trip at BCL
This is my third time staying at BCL and it never disappoints. Each stay has been consistent with the ones previous and this was no exception. The staff does an amazing job of answering any questions and assisting in any way. The shuttle driver was always on time and provide great insight and conversation around MV and Telluride. We already booked our stay for the next year and cant wait to come back. Thanks again for providing a great place for our family to make memories. Cheers!
