The condo is spacious and open, with a full kitchen with granite countertops, breakfast bar with four chairs, dining area that seats six, and living room with a gas fireplace, balcony and mountain views. The sofa sleeper has a built-in air mattress topper.
The bedroom is furnished with a king bed, safe and TV with large windows and views. The bathroom is located in the hallway and has a walk-shower. Every unit at the Bear Creek Lodge includes a fan, humidifier, hairdryer, coffee maker, starter coffee, and robes.
The Bear Creek Lodge offers free fiber wireless internet access, a fitness center, newly-remodeled outdoor year-round heated pool and hot tubs, grills, a fire pit, sauna and a free shuttle for guest use within Mountain Village. The pool, hot tub and shuttle operation hours vary. Please consult the front desk for hours during your stay.
Parking at the Bear Creek Lodge is not guaranteed. One parking spot per unit may be available on a first-come, first-served basis for a nightly fee. Autumn visit
Fall foliage was great! It even snowed one day. Our 1 bedroom condo was big for the 2 of us. Kitchen was probably the best stocked condo that I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in hundreds! Balcony was super tiny, I took a folding chair, so it would fit. It was better than no balcony! Staff and shuttle was great! Price was reasonable for Telluride. Hot tub and firepits were great. Fantastic spot
Staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful and the room was perfect. The lodge is very conveniently located, being a short walk to the gondola. Uncomfortable beds
I’ll start with the great things about Bear Creek. I love staying in the mountain village and the free shuttle they have is the best! It’s is prompt and so convenient to get around the village. The condos have full kitchen and laundry which is so nice with a family. The pool, fitness center, and game room is decent. The staff is friendly and helpful, but they are not very knowledgeable on issues within the property. My biggest complaint is the beds. I’ve stayed here 4 times in 4 different rooms and the beds are old and very uncomfortable. They all need new mattresses. The pull out sofa beds are worse. Cleanliness and a comfortable bed are the most important thing to me when I stay at a place. They are supposed to do a midweek clean and the last two time we’ve stayed they have never come. I’ve had to go ask for clean towels and set my trash out and ask for more toilet paper. I don’t care if my bed is made or the floor vacuumed, but I want clean towels, trash taken out and enough toilet paper.- Stephanie C , Posted: 3/19/2021Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. We agree it is nice to be able to cook meals in a fully equipped kitchen and being able to do laundry in the condo is always a plus. DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICY (varies by property)
River Club, Villas at Cortina and See Forever Residences;
25% of the total is due at time of booking (non-refundable). Final payment is due 60 days prior to arrival.
If canceled less than 60 days prior to arrival all reservations are non-refundable and due in full.
Bear Creek Lodge condominiums, Aspen Ridge and Private Residences;
25% of the total is due at time of booking (non-refundable). Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.
If canceled less than 30 days prior to arrival all reservations are non-refundable and due in full.
Mountainside Inn, Bear Creek Lodge hotel rooms and Manitou Lodge;
25% of the total is due at time of booking (non-refundable). Final Payment is due 7 days prior to arrival.
If cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival all reservations are non-refundable and due in full.
Cancellation Policy: Each deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations at any time will forfeit the deposit(s) paid to date. No additional fee will apply. Shortening of the stay after the final deposit has been paid will forfeit the deposit paid for the unused nights.
Alpine Lodging Telluride enforces the following policies at all times:
Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-in location is detailed in your reservation confirmation.
Late Arrival: We do not have a 24-hour front desk. After hours arrival information and an after-hours emergency phone number is included in your reservation confirmation or pre-arrival email.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
Refunds: No partial refunds will be made for early departures.
Card on File: A valid credit card must be submitted prior to check-in. Any damages incurred during your stay that require additional cleaning or repair expenses will be charged to the credit card on file. The amount charged is at the sole discretion of Alpine Lodging Telluride or its subsidiaries.
Smoking: All properties are NON-SMOKING. If any member of your party smokes in the unit, interior hallway, deck or patio, a $250 penalty and additional cleaning fee will be charged.
Management: While your reservation with Alpine Lodging Telluride is confirmed and guaranteed, we simply manage the property you are renting. If for any reason the property becomes unusable, we will do our utmost to find a comparable property, at the same cost. If we are unable to do that, we will provide a full refund.
Pets: Dogs are allowed only in designated properties, and limited to two (2). Management reserves the right to evict any guest whose dog is deemed a nuisance; in the event of an eviction, no fees will be refunded. Dogs must be registered with Guest Services upon arrival. Any evidence of unregistered pets will incur a $250 fine plus any additional cleaning, damages, and HOA Fines. Pet fees apply and vary depending on the property.
Housekeeping: Housekeeping services included in your stay vary by property. Additional services may be arranged in advance through the Guest Services team, for a fee.
Housewares: Linens (bedding and towels) are provided with your rental. For properties with kitchens, cookware, utensils and dishes are provided.
Hot Tubs: For those complexes with community hot tubs, the hours of operation are subject to the HOA regulations. Most complex hot tubs shut down during the spring and fall off-seasons.
Construction: We have a short alpine summer construction season so be prepared for detours, noise, and work zones peppered throughout the area.
Age Restriction: The minimum age of the primary renter is 21 for condos and homes and 18 for hotel properties.
Travel Insurance: We offer comprehensive travel insurance from Generali on all of our lodging reservations. This is optional coverage. We know that unexpected disruptions to travel plans can occur where you have to cancel your reservation due to an emergency. The Generali vacation travel insurance policy covers 100% of your lodging reservation cost if you have to cancel due to a covered emergency, such as sickness, injury or death, involuntary termination of employment etc. The coverage also includes certain travel delays. The cost of the travel insurance is 6.95% of your total lodging cost and the insurance can be added at booking or up until we charge your final lodging deposit. If you choose to add it at booking but change your mind, you have up to 10 days from the booking date to cancel the insurance at no cost.
