Disappointing
I really wanted to enjoy my stay at this hotel, and in many ways, the property itself had potential—clean rooms, a decent location, and the basic amenities you’d expect. Unfortunately, my overall experience was overshadowed by the complete lack of competence and attentiveness from the guest services staff and front desk team. From the moment I checked in, it was clear that the staff were either uninterested or untrained. Requests were met with vague answers, unhelpful attitudes, and in some cases, no follow-up at all. When I needed basic assistance—whether it was with directions, information about hotel amenities, or resolving a simple issue with my room—it felt like pulling teeth to get even the smallest bit of help. The front desk often seemed more focused on staring at their screens than actually assisting guests. It’s one thing for a hotel to have a few hiccups, but it’s another for the staff to be so consistently unhelpful that it impacts your entire stay. I genuinely believe my time here could have been enjoyable if the service team had shown even a fraction of the professionalism and customer care that a guest should be able to expect. Instead, I left feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. Sadly, because of the front desk and guest services team, I can’t recommend this hotel. A great property is nothing without great service, and in this case, the staff completely missed the mark.

I didn't know I'd be in a connecting room and the doors in between rooms are not sound proof and you hear everything from the other people residing in that room and they hear you and it's not enjoyable. The TV internet was not connected in the room so upon arriving late in the afternoon and being told a work order tomorrow will fix it maybe was not ideal for the price paid per day. The staff came and fixed it simply plugging it in but it seemed a room reserved would have been checked and ready. As a tourist at times one needs utensils coffee water and it is not obvious you offer these and what is offered is so basic it seems cheap for a hotel at this price point. This is a very peaceful and lovely property and the team are trying to do a good job. The path behind to the community should be improved to make the healthy walk more stable. The property is dated but clean and the staff are very helpful.

Miss
Wonderful stay in Telluride for Bluegrass Festival. The unit was clean and the bed very comfortable. Bonus mini fridge and microwave kept my eating out costs down. My only complaint about this specific unit is that since it is a lock off from the next door, you can hear 100% of everything next door. My neigbor, while keeping normal hours, was very loud first thing in the morning.

Loved this property! Affordable, clean and the decor was welcoming! I am greatful for the location, the shuttle was amazing, pool and hottubs were incredible! Thank you so much!

Needs better sound proofing
This unit is beautiful and I love staying at Bear Creek Lodge, however the walls are paper-thin and I could hear my neighbors (on both sides) listening to late-night tv and arguing with each other in the early morning and at night. It appears the unit is a part of a larger unit and the door and well as the wall is not properly insulated to provide better sound proofing. Thank you.
