Summer biking tour
We honestly believe that we had a total bottom line all inclusive binding contract deal when we agreed to the non-refundable FULL price. But we were subjected to $165 in surprise upcharges. A deal is a deal BOTH ways. We did not demand a discount later and we do no agreed that on-arrival up-charges are an ethical way to do business. If the full price was disclosed up front we would have paid it. Bear Creek
Our first stay there was wonderful. The second one was not so wonderful. The kitchen had exactly four coffee filters and not even enough paper towels to make it three days. Dishes were all chipped up and the utensils so few that it was a good thing we brought our own knives. Sparsely equipped is a generous way to describe it. The dresser in the bedroom was bashed in and you couldn't even open the bottom drawer. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. The two mattresses meeting in the center created a big ridge that was too uncomfortable to sleep on.
