Bear Creek Lodge 403

Guys Ski Trip
5 old college friends had a fantastic stay at The Bear Creek Lodge. I feel like the pictures listed did not do the rental justice. It was nicer and more spacious than we all imagined. The location was perfect for access to the mountain as well as zipping down to town via the bear creek shuttle and gondolas. The staff was informative and friendly. Hot tubs were on point after a long day of skiing. Definitely recommend!

This was not the unit that I originally reserved. I reserved unit 410 eleven months prior and somewhere along they way, we were switched and I was not notified of this switch until I called up 1 month prior to our arrival to confirm. This unit was fairly run down as others have stated, there was no broom or vacuum to be able to tidy up. Our original reservation allowed for pets, this unit did not, thus causing us to find a pet sitter at the last minute. Another concern I have is that we overpaid as unit 410 was a higher cost per night than unit 403. When we return to the area, I would not stay at the Bear Creek Lodge.

However, there is no guarantee that the unit that you booked will be the unit that you receive due to possible owner requests to use the unit, maintenance issues etc. After looking into the reservation further, it looks like your reservation was moved due to the owner's request. Only, comment that I have is that the condition of the rental was rundown a bit. The french doors to the deck didn't seem to work properly, the master bedroom jetted tub didn't drain or work properly and a towel rack in the master bedroom came off of the wall when pulling a towel off of it. The staff did an excellent job with any issues and the shuttle service worked very well. They had a new roof being installed, which really wasn't an issue at all. Overall, a nice place with a great staff, which may just need a slight bit of minor maintenance to be prefect.

Bear Creek Lodge
Everyone did a great job. But in the condo the furnishing where not up to standards. Dinning room chairs had warner out spots on every chair. The bar stools had a arm the was Brocken and taped with black together with electrical tape.. We have spent 10 or 12 visits with you all over the years, But this was not acceptable from one of your owners. Thanks Dennis McDaniel

PERFECT fit
AMAZING place and a great stay. The front desk staff went above and beyond during check-in and check-out. Our condo was perfect for our group. Plenty of room and set up very well. The pool, hot tub and fire pit were fantastic. We were treated well by all we dealt with! The shuttle van was super convenient and they were willing to come at any point to pick up or drop us off. The only downside to the entire experience was the lack of parking, but they handled it well.

Nice place!
We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful location, nicely appointed condo. Not a stirring view from its location, but the trees make a nice backdrop. Path to the market and gondola means you can skip the shuttle most of the time.
