Because we were here on off days, and the only ones at the facility, there was no breakfast. No coffee etc. Of course kitchen is open 24 hrs. Was a bit strange. I guess summer stays may be better. The room was adequate, but im wondering if id do it again in the month of December or if at all again. Telluride seems to be going thru its changes, and the energy of the whole time there was a bit strange.

Great Telluride stay
Great lodge, absolutely loved the experience there. The room was great and cozy, loved the view from our balcony. The staff was so friendly and appeasing. We will definitely be returning to stay there again!

Awesome place
This place was located perfectly close to town. It truly is an efficiency apartment best for 1 maybe 2 people and I feel like it is a great deal value wise. It’s RIGHT on the creek, you can see and hear the creek. So close to town, steps away from great bars and restaurants. Can begin the bear creek falls hike from your door. Very quiet, never heard a neighbor. The fan was appreciated to move air through the upstairs bedroom at night.

Manatou #11
We love the location. It is right by the river and the sound is so pleasant. # 11 was a little small. When the downstairs single sofa bed was pulled out, you couldn't walk around it, you had to go over it. Manatou does have larger units if you want more space. The common area was very warm with couches, fireplace, dining table and kitchen. On Monday Tuesday and Wednesday, there is no breakfast, only coffee. That was when we were there. The outside deck with tables and chairs was very inviting. We'll be back but will choose a bigger unit next time.

Great Location! Great Staff! Great time!
We had a group of 4 that stayed here in 2 rooms on a ski trip. We’ve taken many trips to Telluride over the years and this spot was, by far, our favorite. The location is perfect: just a short walk to so many great restaurants and shopping spots, and an even shorter walk to the gondola. The staff is outstanding, as well. Alisha was extremely helpful, attentive, friendly, and responsive. The morning we were due to check out we learned that our flights were canceled and she was so helpful in working with us to extend our stay for 2 more days. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Great First visit to Telluride
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Alisha was very responsive and helpful, for all of our requests. The property is located near the middle of town, easy walk to Gondola, restaurants and shopping, highly recommends this property - great value and western hospitality.

Great stay
I had a lovely time staying at the Manitou Lodge. It is conveniently located. Quiet and on the river. I love the breakfast and coffee in the morning. The staff is very friendly.

Really wonderful place and staff
We absolutely loved our stay at the Manitou. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The location and proximity to walkable restaurants and walkable lift and gondola access was unbeatable. The breakfast was filling and tasty. We loved it all.

Perfect cozy comforts
This place made our stay in Telluride so convenient. We parked the truck and never had to drive it the rest of our time. The lifts were walkable (1 block), and the gondola too! Being so close to the shops/bars/restaurants was truly amazing. The hospitality and clean cabin was welcoming. Hot tub was awesome. Fireplace and games were a nice touch since our cabin room was a little smaller. Overall 5 stars and would stay here again!

Fantastic quaint experience
We had a fantastic experience at this location! The room was small but had everything we needed. You can pay the location for the price. It was such a special touch that there is a live in innkeeper! She served breakfast daily as well as an afternoon snack. Much appreciated! The hot tub was great after ling hike/runs. The Cowboy Coffee cart right next door was the best coffee I’ve ever had. The Sneffles Highline trail/ deep creek loop (14 miles) was the prettiest I’ve done. Overall just a perfect trip with a magical little place to stay. We will be back!

Great location
Great location but the building itself is in decent condition for the price. Considering the nicer places in town we’re $600 vs this at $450 it wasn’t bad, but if we did it again we’d probably pay for the upgrade. There wasn’t much in terms of staff to assist but it was a relatively easy check in process however it’s like a condo so there’s no bellhop or anything to help with bags or concierge. Didn’t know what to expect but it was ok. Unit was a little cramped definitely only for 2 people, says it can sleep 3 but it wasn’t big enough for that in my opinion but if you’re just ski bummin it for a week it’s not bad. Location was phenomenal, basically ski in ski out right at the base of the gondola and one other lift. Also within 1-3 blocks of all the restaurants in town telluride so it’s a walkable property. Property was dated but clean, would stay again if nicer spots were booked as it was comfortable but we had to extend and stayed at the inn at lost creek for a night and it would be our go to the next time we’re in town over this.

Surprised there was no breakfast nor maid service
It surprised me that there was no maid service or breakfast (as advertised). COVID is not an excuse as other hotels, motels and inns have figured out how to clean the rooms and make up the bed daily, and to provide breakfast safely. A simple solution would be a brown-bag breakfast.

A down to earth getaway!
Manitou is a perfect retreat from the noise of modern life. The rooms are small, yes - but more like a warm blanket that says “welcome home” than a sterile hotel room. I had not stayed at Manitou since the early 90’s and now I want to come stay in “my room” as a regular. Everything was clean and comfortable and the staff are truly the best! Open up the windows at night and let the chill in the air and the rushing river just off the deck encourage you to pull up the blanket and sleep like a baby! Breakfast in the kitchen is also simple but our host was gracious and took care of everything. Waking up to the smell of cinnamon rolls is never wrong ;). The accommodations are more old school lodge than fancy condo, but the location on the San Miguel path and level of customer service can not be beat. The WiFi is hit and miss, but do you really come to Telluride to be sitting around online? Thank you Alpine Lodging for representing this adorable property! Can’t wait to come back to my happy place.

We love the location right next to the river - and of course, the breeze! The breakfast is another great perk :) Wifi in Telluride is generally hit-or-miss, and we try our best to keep it working for all the guests - but we're glad you were able to enjoy the outdoors! Oldie but a Goodie
Many years since I stayed at Manitou and not a lot has changed, which is just fine! Wonderful location along the river, wonderful deck, wonderful breakfast, a community kitchen and a bike rack. My unit had issues with the upper windows, which will hopefully be soon rectified. The shower was great and always had hot water. Many 'regulars' stay at Manitou, with good reason. I will be back soon.

Property should have parking to accomodate their guests
Not a good way to start your vacations when you can't find a park. I love the location but if it's that much of a hassle I would choose to stay some where else next time. Unit #11 was way too small.... even for 2 people & it cost more then the king rooms which are a lot nicer.
