Great place to stay
Friendly staff, beautiful location, and lots to do in the area. Parking can be a bit tight on the weekends, but the staff was very helpful and accommodating! Was able to find a spot in a nearby lot that’s very walkable. Would come here again, it’s a cool ski town, and great for hikers in the “off season”.

King is actually two twins in a tench coat
The king bed was actually two completely shot twin beds pushed together and wrapped in king sheets. So effectively you get to sleep on one twin bed or the other. The pillows were also completely shot. There is no AC in the unit, and the small plug in fan wasn't enough to create any significant airflow to cool down the room. All of the above provided for two nights of the worst sleep of my life. I won't return. The staff was very nice, the grounds were maintained, and the hot tubs seemed nice. It's an older property, but it's in good condition.

I completely understand a split-king set up may not have been ideal for your stay. While this can be a useful arrangement, we off a variety of other bedding styles to accommodate other preferences. Another Great Stay!
We have been staying here for over 20 years. We love the simplicity and location to the ski lift and town amenities. The bed was comfy and the room was just enough. Thanks again!

Quiet stay
We have stayed here before and have never had issues. It’s quiet, all amenities are easily accessible, parking is within view of the room, and the staff was helpful and kind.

No kitchenette in room - very disappointing
I specifically stayed at Mountainside Inn because of to advertised kitchenettes in the rooms and the price. I was very disappointed that there was no kitchenette as I was dealing with some dietary restrictions at the time that make it a lot easier to be able to prepare my own meals. I asked the front desk staff about this after I noticed the missing kitchenette and they said there was nothing they could do to switch my room, even though I had specifically made this request when I made my reservation over the phone. I would have likely stayed somewhere else had I known this situation would occur. They did give me a plate and cutlery to use and I was able to utilize a micro-fridge - not nearly the same as a kitchenette though.

I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed. We looked into your reservation and there were no notes requesting a kitchenette. We were not able to move you when you arrived due to the fact that we were at full occupancy and your booking with the third party did not impart to us the information concerning the kitchenette. We hope you will come again and suggest that you call us direct. We will make sure you are placed in a room that meets your needs.

The room is in dire need of new carpet and a good cleaning
I was not happy that housekeeping only maintains after 5 days. The bed was very uncomfortable and the carpet needs to be replaced. It has many stains and gives a dirty impression at first glance. Does the owner pay maintenance on his unit? If so, his fees are not being used properly. I regret not having previewed the unit prior to making our reservation.

As we tell our guests upon check-in and is clearly stated in the informational sheet that you received, if you need something, your comfort is important to us and to let us know. This is true. We changed your dates of stay to accommodate your needs and during your three-night stay would have appreciated knowing immediately of your discomfort so we could correct the issues.
