Spacious, Quiet, Comfy
Was pleasantly surprised at how big this condo was! Quiet. Loved the big windows overlooking river. Roomy kitchen, comfy king bed, plenty of towels, extra blanket, fan, everything we needed. Only issue was couch was not comfortable. Still a great value.

Overall good stay but the price has gotten high with not as much value
I know Telluride is generally an expensive location, but this stay really ended up being quite pricey for what we got in return. The base price of the hotel seems in-line with the condition - it's a nice property but not up-to-date and the base price is fairly affordable (compared to rates in Telluride). But when we got the itemized receipt at check out, there were a ton of extra fees - a cleaning fee (which is not normal at a hotel), a reservation fee (a fee just for someone to reserve a room?), and then other taxes. In addition, there was a $20/day parking permit that ended up being totally unnecessary - I purposely left early to get to Telluride early enough to try and secure a parking permit because I thought it would guarantee a spot. The permit doesn't guarantee you a spot in the Carhenge parking lot because anyone can park there at any point. However, if someone parks in a certain area that is supposed to be reserved for the hotel then they *might* get a ticket - IF someone checks. Either way, if those spots are taken, you are still SOL because its a free public parking lot and no one is checking. Overall, I love that this place is nice and comfy, there's a kitchenette (minimal, but enough to cook dinners and coffee for bfast!), doggo friendly, more affordable than other options, and has a hot tub - and it's a nice location bc it's right off the trail to get to town and isn't right in town (which I like bc it's slightly less congested). Also, the staff is extremely friendly and great to chat with. BUT the cost has gotten out of hand, it was loud (and not from the concert - dogs were barking and people were talking outside and we needed our windows open to keep the room cool enough), and the parking situation was a bit frustrating. Overall, it's hard to justify coming to telluride when I'm breaking the bank every time I visit even though it's such a fun spot.

Worked perfect for us and our pup. Love the spaciousness, location, and beautiful views of this corner space. Kitchen was well- equipped- we cooked for guests both nights (easier when you have a pup!)

Perfect location for our ski vacation. Close to lift 7, just a short walk across Carhenge parking lot, great hot tubs on property to soak our sore muscles after a full day of skiing and being right next to the San Miguel River was wonderful. The staff is friendly, room was very clean and it is just a short walk to the center of town, restaurants, the gondola, shops and all of the night life. It was a fabulous vacation!

The condo was nice there were things that could be improved like the couch in living area was very uncomfortable and worn. Also, they needed to have more shelves or hooks in the bathroom so you would not have to put things on the floor.

The unit met my expectations overall; the sofa bed in the living room is old and tired. These beds are typically not good; this one is as bad as it gets and needs to be replaced.

Mountainside Inn
We loved everything about the room with one exception. The couch was so full of dog hair that we wouldn't sit on it. It would be nice to have at least one non-pet friendly room on the river.

Mountainside Inn was a great lodging choice
We really enjoyed our stay at Mountainside Inn. Although we were gone all day, we really enjoyed coming back to th comfort of our one bedroom unit with living room and views of the river. It was quiet and clean and close proximity to the gondola and downtown area. Also appreciated that the river trail went right by our place. Parking was easy too!

We loved being so close to the mountain stream and trail.

Very Nice and Very Clean!!!
There were many, many great things about unit #213 and The Mountainside Inn. The people at the desk were very helpful and nice. The unit itself was extremely clean and had adequate space for 4 adults. The unit is an end unit and there are beautiful views in 2 directions and overlooks the river. The kitchen had everything we needed and we liked having 2 TVs, King size bed and a very comfy couch. The overflow parking lot is on the backside of one of the Mountainside Inn buildings and very close. You can easily walk to the Free Gondola and Lift #7 as well as restaurants. Our room was very quiet but the Inn was not at full capacity so I can't vouch for the quietness when full but we heard no street noise at all. Our only complaint is that the mattress on the queen size sleeper sofa really needs replacing. You could feel every spring as well as many dips it had from being folded. We were able to salvage the situation because we brought a thick gel topper which made the mattress very comfy. If I hadn't brought it we wouldn't have been able to sleep on it at all. I would definitely stay here again and if the mattress was replaced I would've rated it with 5 stars.

The unit you stayed in, #213 is particularly nice as it sits above the San Miguel River and is scenic with the recent snowfalls we've received. Concerning the sleeper sofa, we are in the process of replacing the sofas each year and about half of them are new. Soon 213 will have a new Flexsteel sleeper sofa as well." Stay review
We were overall very happy with our stay. We would have appreciated hand soap in the kitchen as we were only provided a small bar in the bathroom sink area. There were also mouse droppings each morning onThe stove such as when we left a few crumbs out but it was 99% picked up, and In our dogs food bowl each morning so a few mouse traps may be good too. Also we didn’t know where to bring our trash if it was full so instructions on our info paper would be nice for that as we noticed the recycling containers in the lobby areas. Overall were very satisfied with our stay and plan to visit telluride this winter.

Great spot and nice room!
Great spot right along the river and walkable to everything in town. Room was nice, separate bedroom and full kitchen with granite counter tops. Appreciate the pet-friendly policy ($30 charge).
