Dog Friendly in Town!
Great location! The place was clean. Very easy walk to downtown and the Gondola. Front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. It was quiet at night and loved that it was dog friendly.

Short weekend stay
The location is wonderful. The price is a plus. The accommodations are fine. It is not luxury but the room was plenty spacious, The shower was small but functioned well. The towels were nice. The room was too warm, for our preferences, but the windows opened and there was a fan. (Air conditioners are not a norn in Telluride.) The bed was fine - solid, not creaky, softer than what we prefer. It was quite with only minimal communal noise. Staff was very nice and helpful. We will stay there again.

Recommended!
Convenient. Loved the kitchenette for quick breakfasts before walking out the door and hopping on lift 7. Love that I could park my car for the week end and walk everywhere.

love mountainside… i have visited in summer & fall from CA by motorcycle, a few times winter (i am more the ‘mo’- vs ‘ho’- tel type…very nice to stay ‘in town’ if you are less the ‘mountain village type’ (altho many in-town options to suit you as well). love the hot tub(s) in winter, (dip in adjacent san miguel river summer), easy parking (once you know the drill), walkability, virtually ski in/out w/proximity to lift 7, kid’s run, free gondola. w/fridge & microwave you can do a meal when you want to stay in & skip telluride’s great restaurant choices. highly recommend.

Telluride Economic Retreat
Accommodations were clean and comfortable, setting spectacular next to the creek and walking distance to downtown. Friendly and helpful staff, good security.

Great value and efficient lodging
Very nice stay, once again at Mountainside Inn. The rooms are consistently clean and efficient. Everything operates as expected. What a great way to stay in Telluride for the Blues and Brews Festival! We are really looking forward to the new tot hub that is going in now :-)

Walking distance to Lift 7 and downtown Telluride
Nice motel-style guest rooms for the price. To stay this close to the skiing action for the price, it's a bargain. The rooms were very quiet, even with the building to full capacity on New Years Eve and Day. The front desk personnel were very helpful, parking is close, and downtown eating is only a few minutes away via the river walking path. If you came to Telluride to ski or enjoy the outdoors and not the indoors, this place is ideal for the price.

Terrific Staff
I have stayed here for many years and for this year's review I would like to recognize how pleasant and helpful the front desk staff is as is everyone working around the property In particular I want to single out Jennifer. When I showed up to check in after a long day travelling from the east coast and over 6 hours of flight delays I realized I had left my bag with id, laptop, credit cards and cash in the Telluride Express shuttle. Jennifer acted right away to get in touch with their dispatcher and have the driver return with my bag. She didn't even give me time to panic and helped keep me from feeling stupid by saying I would not believe how often this hsppens.

easy in and out for a quick stay
Lots of communication ahead of time. After hours manager was very helpful in getting me an iron though would have expected it to be in the room already.

awful parking situation especially if arriving at night with small parking lot full. no one was avail. to help us check in…finally found key in an envelope in a box with name on it? had to search for bldg and room without any map provided. kind of a nightmare.
