Upon entering this unit, guests will see a queen built-in bunk bed right near the entrance. The bathroom area is to the left, which has a separate shower and powder room. The main living space is at the rear of the unit. It has a stunning brand-new remodeled kitchenette with a two-burner cooktop, mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee-maker and the pans and dishes to complete any meal. The dining room has a large picnic bench seating area, which is adjacent to a sectional pull-out sofa - a great place to kick back and relax after exploring Telluride. There is no TV in the unit, making this a real getaway from your devices!
Complimentary wifi is included. A well-stocked vending machine and coin-operated laundry are located on the property. There is no A/C at the Mountainside Inn. There is limited, first come, first served parking for a nightly fee. We encourage you to consider a local shuttle option in favor of renting a car. If there is no Mountainside Inn parking available, you may need to park overnight in one of the local paid parking garages.
The Mountainside Inn is just two blocks from the grocery store, and about a 10-minute walk from historic downtown Telluride. The river trail offers a delightful path through town, and the free in-town shuttle picks up about a 1/2-block from the Inn.
This room is NOT pet-friendly and any unregistered dog will incur a substantial fee. Please select a dog-friendly room if you plan on bringing a pet.

The place was close to Lift 7, and short walk (10 min) to the Gondola. Tight quarters, but manageable. The front staff was helpful and accommodating. The unit itself was not cleaned well. Sheets and blankets had dirt (and hair) on them. The floor in the bathroom clearly had not been cleaned in a while. There was no soap (other than shampoo) in the unit. While these could be rectified during our stay, they weren't. The staff were amazing! So kind and helpful. Location was great! Re: 303 Unit. A full length mirror needs to be added to the sitting area. The 1 mirror in the bathroom is too small and too high. This is a very interesting unit at Mountainside Inn. Two nice queen beds, but they are bunk beds so a bit cave-like (could use a strong floor fan to help air circulation). A very small sink and shower (would benefit greatly from a hand held showerhead w/hose) . However, those two oddities allow for a large living room and kitchen area. Booked room 303 for the bluegrass fest cause it was all that was left. the room is so small, it makes a tiny house look grandiose. the shower is not usable for any sizeable adult. im 5'10" and 230, couldnt even get into it. miserable experience. no TV, no AC, tiny, yeah, Id rather stay in a tent. and they cost..dont get me started.- Anonymous U , Posted: 6/21/2022Thank you for your review about unit 303. We made a reservation direct at Alpine Lodging/Mountainside Inn. I spoke directly to the registration manager. She told me there were two "premium" rooms left with two Queen beds for $275/night. We arrived at 8:30 PM due to a 4-hour delay on Route 550 road repairs. The lobby was closed, and no one contacted us with directions on checking in after hours. I called the Hotel hotline, and a lovely gentleman returned my call with instructions on how to get our key. To our vast dismay, the room had BUNK BEDS. What a surprise to BUNK BEDS! After that miserable discovery, we could not locate the parking lot as indicated on the map they enclosed with our key. Another guest had the same problem and helped us maneuver the directions to their parking lot. Policies
25% of the total is due at time of booking (non-refundable). Final payment is due 7 days prior to arrival.
If canceled less than 7 days prior to arrival all reservations are non-refundable and due in full.
Alpine Lodging Telluride enforces the following policies:
Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Late Arrival: After hours arrival information and an after-hours emergency phone number is included in your reservation confirmation or pre-arrival email.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
Refunds: No partial refunds will be made for early departures.
Card on File: A valid credit card must be submitted prior to check-in. Any damages incurred during your stay that require additional cleaning or repair expenses will be charged to the credit card on file. The amount charged is at the sole discretion of Alpine Lodging Telluride or its subsidiaries.
Smoking: All properties are NON-SMOKING. If any member of your party smokes in the unit, interior hallway, deck or patio, a $250 penalty and additional cleaning fee will be charged.
Management: While your reservation with Alpine Lodging Telluride is confirmed and guaranteed, we simply manage the property you are renting. If for any reason the property becomes unusable, we will do our utmost to find a comparable property, at the same cost. If we are unable to do that, we will provide a full refund.
Pets: Dogs are allowed only in designated properties, and limited to two (2). Management reserves the right to evict any guest whose dog is deemed a nuisance; in the event of an eviction, no fees will be refunded. Dogs must be registered with the front desk upon arrival. Any evidence of unregistered pets will incur a $250 fine plus any additional cleaning, damages, and HOA Fines. Pet fees apply and vary depending on the property.
Housekeeping: Housekeeping services may be arranged in advance through the front desk team, for a fee.
Housewares: Bedding and towels are provided with your rental. For properties with kitchens, cookware, utensils and dishes are provided.
Hot Tubs: Hot tubs may have limited hours or be shut down during the spring and fall off-seasons.
Age Restriction: The minimum age of the primary renter is 21.
Travel Insurance: We offer comprehensive travel insurance options on all of our reservations. This is optional. Insurance can be added at booking or until we charge your final lodging deposit. If you choose to add it at booking but change your mind, you have up to 10 days from the booking date to cancel the insurance at no cost. For more detailed coverage information or for specific coverage questions, please contact Generali travel insurance at 866-999-4018.
