The Mountainside Inn is located along the San Miguel River in the heart of Telluride. It is comprised of four separate buildings, all of which are two floors with stair access (no elevators).
Guests enter this kitchenette on the first floor of the 300 building. The bathroom, closet area and kitchenette are near the doorway, while the main living area is at the rear of the room. There is a queen bed and twin sleeper sofa in the same room with a flatscreen TV and a small sitting area for two. The kitchenette has a two-burner cooktop, mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee-maker and plenty of pans and dishes to make any meal.
The bathroom has a vanity with granite countertops, a separate water closet, and a step-in shower with a glass door.
Complimentary wifi is included. A well-stocked vending machine and coin-operated laundry are located on the property. There is no A/C at the Mountainside Inn.
The Mountainside Inn is just two blocks from the grocery store, and about a 10-minute walk from historic downtown Telluride. The river trail offers a delightful path through town, and the free in-town shuttle picks up about a 1/2-block from the Inn.
This room is dog-friendly with prior notification and a $30/night fee. Pet fees will be charged at check-in. Two dog limit.

Oh my gosh, I can’t say enough about Mountainside Inn! This was my first time to Telluride, and I couldn’t have picked a more ideal place to stay! What an awesome location - LOVED being able to walk everywhere -, it was so quiet, the Internet worked great, which was huge for me because I worked remotely during the week & I felt safe there. But what really made it, was the amazing responsiveness and communication I had via email in advance of my stay, and then when I arrived, I couldn’t believe the kindness from your staff – namely Danny. He is so incredibly nice, patient, knowledgeable and sweet. What an awesome employee you have and a lovely person. Thank you so much Danny for being the true icing on the cake with an already wonderful experience! I will be back! Thank you, Mountainside Inn! Delightful
We had a delightful five day/four night visit. It was a great blend of everything. It wasn't over the top that makes things very expensive. The view of the snow, blue skies, and mountains was priceless! Our room had a sitting area for daytime visiting. The fold out sofa was fine (for a 25yo). The kitchenette allowed us to cook our own meals and the access to the grills were an added bonus! I had no idea how useful the hot tubs would be after being on the slopes, much appreciated! The security and ambiance was pleasing and felt real. I never had to guess what to do; or friendly staff helped me out. To top it off the gondola is walking distance away, we found a walking trail along the river that made the journey delightful. There, I said it several times...the trip was delightful.
