Great Location. Friendly Staff! Parking not guaranteed in the main lot, but there is a lot, with a pass from Hotel, that you can park in. It’s a weird drive to get there, but it’s literally right behind one of the d buildings. My only complaint about room 317: with the windows shut, it smells like urine. Figure it’s the carpet from a pet? It is pretty bad. Now that it’s getting chilly, will be harder to get a fresh smell in the room by keeping window open.

When I stayed at Mountainside Inn before, the room was more than twice the size of this one. I should have asked about square footage. I didn't know. The kitchenette deluded me into thinking the room would be normal size. Also, the two hot tubs are not a worthy replacement for the one you had before. And don't close them at 9pm. Stay open till 10 like a normal hotel.

We appreciate your feedback. All kitchenettes and hotel rooms are the same size. We do have 1 bedroom suites that are bigger and cost a bit more. With regards to the hot tubs, we have been working on the new tubs for over a year and are very happy with having 2 tubs versus just one tub. We hope these changes do not affect your decision to book at Mountainside Inn in the future. Mountainside Inn Management

Horrible. Our bed didn’t even have a bed sheet, carpet was disgusting, the banging on the wall as and slamming doors all night was horrible. Not good quality of bed and sheets. I hope they are washing the Mattress covers since there are not sheets on the bed. Called for a refund and no one got back to me.

Thank you for feedback regarding your stay with us. I spoke with our housekeeping manager, and it is protocol to provide sheets on all beds and extra sheets in the closet. We are not sure were the breakdown happened, but we are investigating. We inspected the unit and all beds had top sheets. Great People and Location but NASTY Linens and carpet
People and location were excellent however the linens were absolutely NASTY. Large bodily fluid stains on the linens, even the bedspread. New linens were brought to our room and those were nasty as well. We ended up going to a nearby grocery store to buy detergent and bleach and washing everything ourselves. The room needs a renovation badly. The carpet was nasty. I can understand the room being not so fresh but there is no excuse for not supplying clean linen...this is basic. For the amount we paid to stay at the property it was not a good value.

My stay at Mountainside Inn, Telluride
I have recently completed my second stay at the Mountainside Inn, Telluride as accomodation for my annual ski vacation in the United States. My previous visit was in Jauary 2016.I find this accomodation very convenient for skiing activities as it is within comfortable walking distance of the two lifts that serve the town of Telluride one of which will allow ride back if that is your choice and there is also a ski trail that will bring you back to within 100 yards of the Inn . There is a very good grocery store again within easy walking distance of the Inn as well as a wide variety of dining establishments.

good: clean, affordable, friendly, locationbad: hot tub only open from 10am - 10pm -- We would liked to have soaked after returning from the movie (10:45pm) and in the morning. Not opening the hot tub until 10:00am makes no sense to me. Early morning soaking is great and there shouldn't be any noise issues with early morning soakers.

Cozy
The room was clean and functional. The flooring and beds are noisy, and for three nights for the price we paid, a makeup service would have been nice.

During the Blues and Brews rates all over town are bumped up.
