The Manitou Lodge is a quaint 11-room inn nestled along the San Miguel River in the town of Telluride. The property's close proximity to Town Park, the venue for world-renowned Telluride festivals, is perfect for summer guests. Manitou Lodge is also ideally located along the San Miguel river and the popular river trail. This makes for easy walking and biking and access through downtown Telluride as well as hiking trails nearby. Several of the rooms face the river with a small balcony opening up to the relaxing sounds of the San Miguel.
The close proximity to the ski lifts makes for quick and easy access to the world-class Telluride Ski Resort. Both Lift 8 and the free Gondola are within a short walk. Sledding, snow biking and ice skating are also steps away.
As of summer 2026, the Manitou Lodge will no longer serve breakfast. This long-standing tradition was beloved by many however, the challenges with local workforce staffing have made it untenable for the property. We are sad to say farewell to breakfast service, but will continue to delight our guests with comfortable, warm lodging in an unbeatable location and fantastic service.
