Situated in Telluride, where Cornet Creek crosses West Pacific Avenue, enter this unit and find room for skis and boots just inside. The ground-floor bedroom enjoys double-doors opening to the entryway, and has 2 twin beds that can be converted to a king bed. There is a TV with VCR, iPod dock with radio and bluetooth, and a selection of games and videos for guest use.

The downstairs bathroom that has a jetted tub with shower and washstand with italian-marble basin is off the entryway to the left, and the condo's washer/dryer is to the right.

Winding up one flight of stairs you'll find the common living space - kitchen, dining and sitting are all in one. The best feature is the contemporary custom kitchen with 5-gas-burner AGA stove with 3 ovens and commercial-grade vent hood and racks, stainless-steel prep island, granite counter-tops, and all the tools to prepare a wonderful meal or just a tasty treat. The dining and sitting areas are blended together (not large), but can handle 4-6 people. There's a large flatscreen TV (HDMI), Blu-ray player, and pull-out double sofa-sleeper. The deck with a loveseat-swing opens off this room, and the views of the surrounding peaks put Ballard Mountain in the center.

Up another flight is the master suite, with queen bed, and en-suite bath with italian-marble stone tiled steam shower and matching basin. The room has a TV and double futon as well, with a skylight bringing extra light in above the additional entry to the unit (through the back stairwell).

This home enjoys interesting, attractive art and walnut floors throughout, WiFi, access to the common outdoor hot tub (winter only), and adjacent parking. It is conveniently located across from the scenic river trail and 1/2-block from lift 7, and only a 7 minute walk to the gondola and 15 minute walk to town park.

Convenient but Quirky

So it is a great location but the unit needs some essentials. Firstly, the shower in the downstairs was a dribble at best. Secondly there was no blinds on the upstairs sky light, meaning full blast sun light at 5:30am. Lastly there was a distinct lack of bowls and platters. We enjoyed it, so please don't take these comments as complaints, instead as feedback to improve the stay of your next guests. :)
