Parking is valet only and is onsite at the Hotel Columbia. Parking is $35 per night.

Perfect size, perfect location, friendliest staff
We had to get beyond our first impressions of the hotel room to fully appreciate what a perfect hotel this was for us. Unfortunately, the carpet in the elevator was in very bad shape (stained and very worn)and likewise, the carpet in the room was literally wrinkled with use. My husband wanted to leave on the spot but we’d traveled 12 hours & on a busy weekend everything else would’ve been booked. I AM SO GLAD WE STAYED!!!!! Yes, the hotel should upgrade tatty carpet — it’s an important first impression. BUT ... The room and bath were meticulously clean. Sheets were lightly starched pure cotton. The bathroom was exemplary, which matters A LOT to us. Gorgeous, rustic travertine tile throughout; huge tub long enough for my 6’2” spouse; separate, sparkling shower. Perfection! What else we loved: wrap-around windows with views of the gondola and mountains. We also loved the festive red twinkle lights on the tall pines outside our windows. Complimentary breakfasts were ample (smoked salmon every day???? YES PLEASE) and a godsend, because we were there for a long weekend wedding featuring rigorous hikes every morning. And the staff! Friendliest, kindest, most helpful ever. They recommended incredible restaurants & places to see and always greeted us like we were old friends. Again, a consistently fresh & well kept decor is very important, especially at this price point — a couple of key upgrades could me made. But overall, we LOVED The Columbia & would come back in a heartbeat. (Forgot to mention convenience! Steps from the gondola, which we used multiple times a day; steps from the heart of Telluride with all its restaurants & shops; and steps from the river and hiking trails. We couldn’t ask for a more perfect location.)
